My fellow otakus, similar to my SSA+Toracon announcement, if you follow me on Instagram, chances are you have probably seen me announce ACEcon 2026 already. Once again, I would like to apologize for not announcing it officially sooner, as my schedule became crunched with the insane amount of articles I had to publish due to popular demand from my viewers. I am pleased to announce that I will be attending ACEcon 2026.

Located in Palm Harbor, this anime convention will be my first one that revolves around my local area, aka the Tampa area. In other words, this anime con will be my first that’s located in my hemisphere, and also the third that has multiple days, after Brick City Anime Festival and the upcoming SwampCon 2026 in Gainesville. Interestingly, this will be the first multi-day anime con that does not require hotel booking. It will also be my first time visiting Palm Harbor as well.

First opened in 2014, ACEcon 2026 is Palm Harbor’s primary library anime and manga convention. ACEcon has a lot of awesome stuff in store and is said to be an anime convention welcoming to anyone without the intimidating atmosphere that most big anime conventions have. It is family-friendly, with panels, cosplay, vendors, games, and at least four different contests to choose from! Boy, am I excited as heck or what?
