Samurai Hibachi & Ramen Review (Birthday Special)

Ever since I’ve fallen in love with The Land of The Rising Sun, Japan has become an important part of my life. Ranging from many great things that the Japanese have invented. Anime, manga, video games, toys & games, tokusatsu, books, otaku culture niches, and other stuff like music, automobiles, inventions, technology, innovations, culture and history, athletes, language, and so much more… So, of course, what else would be on my passionate love affair for Japan? Obviously…

Food… Aka, cuisine. For my entire life, despite spending so much time investing my interests in Japan, I’ve never got to taste authentic Japanese cuisine. In fact, I’ve never even tried out or ever got the chance to eat any Japanese food whatsoever. Even when I had the chance to, such desires never materialized. The void of never trying out Japanese cuisine remained a strong enigma for me, for practically most of my otaku life since I first became one back in 2011…

Finally, that would change at long last when I visited an amazing and awesome restaurant by the name of Samurai Hibachi & Ramen. This Japanese restaurant is located in Ocala, Florida. Oh, and guess what? This restaurant isn’t just some ordinary restaurant, it’s a Japanese restaurant that brings out the authentic Japanese feel. Not only that, but also brings out an otaku feel that even I was not expecting. This restaurant isn’t just “some restaurant”, It’s magical, and for any otaku in Florida, this is a must-visit, and I’ll tell you exactly why in this review.

Also, please enjoy my historic reveal of my cosplay, which I’ve been planning to do for ages now. (R.I.P. Anonymous Kurai: 2021-2025) Heheheh!!!

THE iDOLM@STER (TV Animation) – Amami Haruka – SQ – Masters of Idol World!! 2015 (Banpresto) Review

My fellow otakus. For two years, my Konomi Yuzuhara figure from Kotobukiya that was made in 2005 remained my number 1 figure. Even though, like most things, favorites don’t last forever being number one. As predicted, eventually, my Konomi figure was eventually to be dethroned by another figure. Now, at long last, the time has officially come. After more than two years of enjoying the title as “best figure” of my collection, she’s no longer number 1. Now, we have a new queen in town.

Haruka Amami, the cute idol girl from The Idolmaster Series. She has now taken the throne as the new number 1 figure of my collection. All credit goes to the brilliance of Banpresto. Their amazing efforts have created a figure so extraordinary. Anyone owning this figure will stare at her with massive awe. The best part is, this figure is priced for peanuts. This figure will only cost you around 24–27 bucks in total. For such a cheap figure, she is well-designed.

My Culturefly Dragon Ball Z – Dragon Ball Ramen Bowl Set

Here is one of the new Ramen Bowl Sets that I recently got. I have had this for at least eight days now. I have been wanting to show it for a while. Yet, due to the busy stuff going on in my life, I wasn’t capable of showing it yet. Now, here it is! This Dragon Ball Ramen Bowl set from Culturefly is a really fine piece of creation. Other sets are available, like My Hero Academia, Demon Slayer, and an originally designed Ramen bowl. I chose Dragon Ball because the design looked nicer in my opinion. What I like about it is its well-thought-out design. It is practical because it is a food-safe bowl. You can use it to eat foods, like Ramen, cereal, or even soup. Yes, you guessed it! In fact, I already used my Ramen bowl to eat Ramen and cereal in it. I like the detail of the Dragon Ball themes. The color palette with the dragon balls added to the design of the Ramen bowl is wonderful. The chopsticks and the spoon are also great. They are not only for show but for use as well.

But, I do have a complaint about this Ramen bowl set. The ceramic material used for this bowl is fragile, weak, and if not careful, can easily break. In fact, I have a sad truth for this bowl… The spoon of this Ramen bowl set broke easily. It happened when it softly fell on the kitchen table. The tip of the spoon broke easily. I had to use superglue to fix it, but the scratch marks on the spoon’s tip are still noticeable. So if you are going to use it for something, be REALLY careful. I do have to say that Culturefly did make a huge mistake in that sense.

Regardless, it’s still a nice piece of work. I would definitely recommend any otakus to buy this Ramen bowl set. Use it for food to stand out as the otaku eating with a unique bowl. Everyone else uses a normal bowl jiji!
