Re-uploaded Photos of My Recent Video Game Console Collection As of 2/14/2024

To my fellow otaku gamers, I have been away for a bit due to the busy, but tremendous start to this year as well. Do you remember the previous photo that I uploaded that showed my console collection? Truth be told, I was pretty unsatisfied with the way they looked, and how i took the photos. Dust was everywhere, the quality was off-putting, taken at the wrong time, and I definitely didn’t enjoy the position they were in. So, I decided to retake the photos again. Since I had to clean house and clean up the areas where my consoles since they take up the most dust, I decided to retake them at the right time. So far, they are in a much better position, and the photos look a lot better. Not only did I make them easier to access and play, but I also put them in a much safer position. While, at the same time, making them look tidier and without to go through the hassle of having consoles and controllers everywhere.

Similar to what I said before with my old photos, these consoles mean a lot to me. In fact, I have three more that are unused, 1 because of no games, and the other two because, unfortunately, they are broken and unusable. Aside from that, it’s hard to believe that I have had these consoles for years. Almost all of them are 10 years, except the PS4 and Nintendo Switch. Honestly, I feel emotional when looking at them. Sadly, I used to have a lot of them in the past, but some disappeared due to system failure, or unknown memories. It’s my sworn quest to recollecting all of them, and also brand-new ones as well that I have never played. Aside from that, I cherish these consoles, and I hope to expand their library soon. Here is how old they are when I bought them.

Wii: 15 Years Old (2009)

PS1: 21 Years Old (2003)

3DS: 11 Years Old (2013)

Wii U: 10 Years Old (2014)

PS4: 8 Years Old (2016)

Switch: 7 Years Old (2017)

Hopefully, I can get more of them soon, and also get a PS5 and Xbox Series X soon.

My Recent Video Game Collection As of 1/14/2024

Ah… My video game collection. The first of any in the group and the passion that planted the seed to start it all. Video games and I go way back. In fact, this collection of mines that you are looking at, I have had them since the early 2000s. The oldest one being from the year 2001, and just seeing them sit comfy on my video game shelf gives me a lot of goosebumps. Like the previous collections, video games are an important passion of mine, and I still love collecting them. However, due to the rise of PC gaming and digital downloads like Steam, my collection has somewhat dwindled down, and a lot of unwanted circumstances have slashed half of what I use to own. It makes me really sad because of the games that I lost were masterpieces that have now been lost. Expensive price increases for both new games and retro games have caused harm to my collection. Nether the less, it’s my passion, and I am going forward. Soon, those games that I lost in the past, will be bought back alongside other new and retro games that I soon plan to collect once again. I’ll be making an article and a review about my video game collection soon!

My Video Game Console Collection

Of all pictures that I have taken, this one is unfortunately the least best. The quality is not so good, and everything just feels off. Regardless, these are my consoles, and it saddens me to see how my collection has shrunk so much over the years, due to life span and economic issues. Nether the less, it makes me happy seeing my collection, and even more so that some of these consoles I own, I have had them for years, especially the Sony PlayStation and Wii. Also, please excuse the Wii’s extreme light, it loves to be light and shiny. Don’t mind the dust, either, despite the fact that I just dusted off everything only a few days ago. Consoles and dust goes together like water and oil, lol. Hopefully, I can collect some more consoles soon in the future.
