Naruto – Hyuuga Hinata (Burger King) Review

Note: This review applies to all Naruto toys from Burger King

If you have been keeping up with my stories for over a month, chances are, you must have heard of my story where I attempted to buy the Naruto toys from Burger King. Unfortunately, they did not have any. Worst part was, their response was rather unprofessional and unwelcoming. Sadly, I came to the belief that I wouldn’t get my hands on a single toy from Burger King with the Naruto toys at all…

That was, until today, when I finally got a toy at long last. After a month, I was finally able to get my hands on one of the Naruto toys from Burger King. The only downside is, it’s not Sasuke Uchiha (yes, I’m a Sasuke fanboy). Of course, that doesn’t matter because regardless of the character, I’m happy to own these toys. Hopefully, when there’s a chance, I’d like to complete the whole collection. Now, who are we reviewing today? None other than Hinata Hyuga. Known for her crush for Naruto, and eventual future wife, later on in the series.

These Naruto burger toys, specifically, Hinata Hyuga as shown right now, are modeled with the same texture and material used for the design. The only difference is, their poses are unique. The toys you see right here are very simple. Short, used with plastic and has a detail that remains faithful to the manga and anime official designs.

The texture of the toys are simple plastic. One of the things I do like about the material used for these toys are specifically how simple and durable it is. The material used for this toy makes it feel lightweight. Meaning, it has a simple feel to it and makes the toy hardly vulnerable to issues like suffering a scratch or falling and breaking. In fact, this toy is SO lightweight, that you’ll probably have a little hard time trying to adjust it properly. What I do mean? Well, if not stand properly, expect it to tip off and remain lying. It’s kinda a pain, but, aside from that, not too bad I guess?

The design is not fully faithful to the original, but, nonetheless, it’s still exactly like the official. The only difference is, It’s obviously in chibi form. Meaning, its just a cute deformed size version of the official design. Not much of a difference aside from looking cute. Overall, that’s a plus for me.

Finally, the coloring used is obviously based on simple matte painted coloring with plastic material. It’s not bad at all. Quite frankly, I really like it. Especially the coloring of her eyes. The contrast also matches really well, and the detail used for making her clothes look real and as if they were coming to life is also another massive plus for me as well. The color palette is basically identical to the official design of hers.

Overall, there’s not much to review about this toy. Specifically Hinata Hyuga. This toy from Burger King is obviously made through cheap trading material that is aimed towards kids. Of course, us adult collectors also like it too. If you are a Naruto fan that enjoys getting collectibles, especially when it’s a one time limited edition from Burger King, then this one is for you. The durable plastic design, combined with a good detailing and nice color palette, should definitely convince you to get one. However, you may want to hurry if else the deal will end soon!

Now, I got to collect some more! Hopefully I’ll get Sasuke’s toy soon!

Overall: B-rank
