Two years ago, I attended Ocala Comic Con 2023. It was a lot of fun and I remember the fun and happy memories I had during that event. Sadly, I couldn’t attend last year, but, this year, it’s different as I was able to attend. I did some fun stuff at Ocala Comic Con 2025, and the awesome part is, it was done through a new glowed up cosplay, a full running career, and I was able to take photos of all the awesome skits that happened. Join me in my journey as I show off all the awesome stuff I did for Ocala Comic Con 2025.

After I finally entered, I wanted to take a cool looking selfie to show off my slick newbie cosplay skills. I’m still learning, but, it’s pretty cool! I won’t lie, my arrival felt sensational… It’s been two years and this place has changed a LOT! Wow! This place looks even more amazing. The construction around the area, and the placement of all the vendors and booths, are in abundance. When I saw this, I knew excitement was waiting for me!

After I arrived and did the selfie, my first goal was to find Brick City Anime Festival, as earlier last month I made an announcement in regard to attending Brick City Anime Festival next year. After I finally found the area of where they were, I stumbled across two amazing Five Nights At Freddy’s cosplays that I couldn’t believe how awesome they both looked. I HAD to take a photo op with the two of them!

I also stumbled across a cute Itadori plush from Jujutsu Kaisen.

Finally, the most important part of this year’s Ocala Comic Con for me was going to the Brick City Anime Festival vendor and meeting the awesome maids of maidcafemirai! I was absolutely pleased with receiving the flyers for next year’s anime con at the same convention where Ocala Comic Con is located, The World Equestrian Center. They were awesome, kind, and I felt so honored to have taken a photo op with the two. In fact, this is something awesome that I will be bragging about when Brick City Anime Festival starts on January 10-11, 2026. The amazing part is, not only are they awesome, but I didn’t know they were a south Florida based Kawaii Cyberpunk Maid Café. Like, that’s SO awesome!!! As someone who’s a fellow otaku that hails from the south Florida region, that makes it even more amazing for me. It truly felt amazing meeting other fellow otakus here in the state of Florida. Especially maids! Notably, in an event that I would least expect. In fact, I think this is the first time ever in my life that I met maids from a maid café. I can’t believe it took me 14 hours, but finally, it happened! I sincerely look forward to attending Brick City Anime Festival and hopefully seeing maidcafemirai again too! I cannot wait! 2026 can’t come any sooner!

As you can see, during my time at Ocala Comic Con 2023, I had to resist the temptation of going all out on the figurine hauling. Why you ask? Well, if I were to invest all my money on figures only, then goodbye to my money for future cosplay and events. It was a hard choice, but I had to leave the con empty-handed, and it was worth it. I did see a Len and Rin figure, which was awesome!

I take such pride in coming up and creating this custom closet casual Izyuki Midoryia cosplay outfit. Aka, Deku. Similar to my time at Ocala Comic 2023, I wanted to take some photos of my cosplay. This time, with some awesome poses.

Eventually, the sadness of not buying merch was getting to me, but, I had to resist the urge because more anime cons and cosplay are waiting for me! The good news is, shout-outs cheered me up!

I couldn’t help but take another awesome photo of standing next to this awesome giant TCG cover of two of my favorite dark type Pokémon ever! Also, my favorite Pokémon ever. Umbreon!

Because it’s been two years since I atttended Ocala Comic Con, I thought I might as well pay homemage to my first visit and redo the photo again. This time, all glowed up with a cooler custom looking cosplay at the same area, better photo quality, and, more experience while living in a brighter time. This was a very important moment for me, as I felt happy reliving that moment, but this time in better form. Also, enjoy my epic lolcow fail Jojo pose.

For some reason, I’ve made this pose like a signature staple for me. It just feels SO cool doing this. I feel like a slick boss looking at something awesome. Also, not to mention that this was the same area that I first walked into back in 2023.

I also wanted to take a photo next to this awesome looking armored Mewtwo that I fondly remember. It looked SO cool…

As the Con was approaching its end, I wanted to take some last minute photos of these cool looking Itasha cars. They looked SO awesome and I absolutely loved them. The Itachi themed car, and the Fruit Baskets themed car, looked so amazing. Imagine how sensational it would feel driving those two cars. Otaku travel taken to the next level.

Well, my fellow otakus, there you have it. If you’re looking for a comic con that has an amazing arsenal of all things pop culture, then you HAVE to attend this one! In my opinion, it’s one of the best comic cons in the state of Florida, and believe me, you’ll have a LOT of fun! I would like to sincerely thank Ocala Comic Con and for all the fun experience I enjoyed. It was definitely worth it. Furthermore, I had a lot of fun looking around for merchandise, getting shout-outs from other cosplayers, and seeing all the other awesome stuff available. Not to mention the fact that I also got to meet maidcafemirai, and was given a Brick City Anime Festival flyer. Speaking of that, guess what? I’ll be coming back here again for Brick City Anime Festival. Oh man, you don’t know how EXCITED I am! My time at Ocala Con 2025 will be a memory that I’ll remember for the year 2025, and I would like to consider this fun experience as the epic prelude to all other upcoming anime cons and cosplay events that I’ll be partaking soon!
