My fellow otakus, chances are, if you follow me on Instagram, I’m sure you have seen me talk about Toracon for a while, and it’s true. I’ve confirmed my plans to attend Toracon a while ago. However, I apologize for not officially announcing it due to my time crunch with numerous big articles that I had to publish for my followers. Anyway, I am pleased to announce that I will be attending SSA+Toracon 2026.

SSA+Toracon is an anime convention located in Sarasota, Florida, so this will be the second time I’ll be traveling to Sarasota for an anime convention—the last being Sarasota Anime-Fest on December 6, 2025. I am super excited and I cannot wait to see what Toracon has in store!

First opened in 2012, SSA+Toracon is an amazing anime convention filled with awesome stuff that I cannot wait to experience! It ranges from being a family-friendly anime convention with vendors, artists, performers, and dojos. This con will be my first, and my last… Why do I say this? Because this year will be its final one, and after that, its fifteen-year-long chapter comes to an official end. So, just knowing that I’ll be able to attend its last year makes me happy but sad at the same time. It’s a must-attend for me!

I cannot wait to attend this awesome anime con, and I really look forward to meeting up with my fellow mutuals once again! See you there!
