It was nice when it lasted, but now, all things must come to an end, and believe me, it’s worth it!

Hello, my fellow brethren. I have decided to announce some important news: I am officially done being an otaku. The reason for this is that I realized what I once loved is dangerously stupid. Not only that, but I have also discovered new passions in my life that I now officially love. What do I mean by that?

I have found a new love for Hollywood, Disney, reality TV shows, SNL, sitcoms, politics, and other normally accepted things that regular people are into—things I believe I should start enjoying as well. I think this is a very important move because being an otaku simply isn’t for me anymore.

Because of this, I am no longer an otaku. I am abandoning everything, guys. I just want to be a normal person and spend time around normal people. Furthermore, I’m done with anime, manga, video games, figures, cosplay, and cons. I’m done with all of that stuff.

Anyway, thanks for understanding. A beautiful 15-year journey comes to an end…
