Many people like to say that Fumos from Touhou are the most popular kind of plushies for otaku, and while that is true, we can’t deny that, arguably, the most popular plushies collected by otakus are none other than Pokémon plushies. Pokémon plushies aren’t just beloved. They are worldwide phenomoms that have become a collector favorite not just among otakus, but for everyone. As someone who has a good amount of Pokémon plushies, including numbers, experience, and memories, I enjoy collecting them, and I am well familiar with the feeling of collecting so many. The thing is, however, I haven’t really been collecting plushies lately as I’ve been working on collecting other type of franchise based merchandise like figures and model kits for example. The last time, up until this year, I bought plushies was back in fall of 2018. Now, nearly seven years later, plush collecting has returned, and, once again, its Pokémon. What a better way to return then to start with our favorite video game juggernaut, eh? First, it was the sleeping Pikachu. Now, its Snorlax.

Here we have our beloved fat adorable Pokémon who is known to sleep and eat only. Snorlax, also known as Kabigon in Japanese, is a massive and beloved fan favorite among many Pokémon fans. Snorlax is also one of the most well known Pokémon ever in franchise history. Cute, fat, adorable, big, lazy, you name it. Snorlax has a strong following, and tons of merchandise have featured a Snorlax. This plush here from Jazwares is a prime example. This plush, for me, isn’t just an amazing plush… It’s a plush for the ages… Well sized, soft, big, and good texture… In fact, I am so darn in love with this plush, that, have to ask myself? Is this the best plush ever…? Let’s find out?

One of the finest features that I love about this Snorlax plush from Jazwares is how the texture of the plush feels. It feels soft, the polyester touch feels comforting, and this polyester material is durable to say the least. You could literally squeeze the plush strongly and it will still look as if that never happened. Not only that, but the design of the plush looks amazing. This Snorlax plush not only looks nice in design, but looks almost identical to the official design. The coloring also feels on par with what Snorlax’s modern design has, as opposed to the more dark blue retro look it had in the past. The white coloring also looks amazing and also stays true to its original design.

Another major positive I have for this plush is the size. Typically, some Pokémon plushies wind up either being too small, or average in size which sometimes does not match the description of what it should be. Yes, I am well aware that there are types of Pokémon plushies available in different categories. Examples are traditional plushies, pokedolls, etc. Sadly, some companies that make Pokémon plushies lack the punch of having a good size that balances big and small. While neither is bad, some either overdo it, or underwhelm. In what sense? Simple, some plushies are average in size, or are way too small. Worst part is, the price is way too much… I can safely say, although the Snorlax plush price is a bit too much, I’d say It’s still worth it because this plush perfectly fits for many things that you want to do with it. From being inside a shelf, to bed decoration, a stand, you name it. This Snorlax plush is so adorable and will bring life to your collection.

The plush also has an adorable face as well. Typically, Snorlax always has an adorable face, but, it feels like Jazwares nailed it with its cute adorable smile and closed eyes. You can see how well placed its face looks like, and the round stomach that truly makes Snorlax identical to its official design is an even better positive for the plush. Not only that, but its arms, ears, and legs are also well-designed too. Although it does suffer a tiny scrunch issue, that doesn’t harm its nice design. The claws are also well-designed as well.

A little flaw this Snorlax plush has is how even though the polyester is well crafted, the texture is still slightly vulnerable to having its color changed either through room temperature, or a dirty surface that touches it. While most Pokémon plushies that are either of different are usually exempt from this issue, Snorlax, being a Pokémon that has the color white like many others, are sensitive to having its polyester look dirty. It’s not a big deal, but, if you do ever get one, be very careful and try to keep this Snorlax plush safe.

Aside from that, this is all I can say about this Snorlax plush. I truly love and adore this plush SO much… In fact, this plush looks so good, that I can even use it for many of my articles and videos as a funny spoof to make my viewers laugh. I can make this Pokémon plush some sort of vlog king that everyone can enjoy. The thing is, Snorlax isn’t even my favorite Pokémon of all time. It’s a favorite of mines, but, not number 1. Yet, this Snorlax plush is so well-designed that I honestly can’t stop looking at it… I truly love it… I don’t know what to say, but I think this plush is the best plush I own so far… Although temporary, for now, this one is arguably the best one I own so far… I am going to have SO much fun with this plush…

Overall, if you’re looking for a relatively cheap Pokémon plush that is cute, well-designed, good for your budget, and in high quality, then this plush is for you. This Snorlax plush from Jawares is guranteed to satisfy your collection. The design is faithful to the original, the color contrast is well put. The smile and its body are very cute. The size is great for those looking for big and small. Finally, its texture of polyester is also well-designed, and the material is done in high quality. I would strongly recommend this plush to anyone looking for a Snorlax plush.

Looks like we got a superstar in the making!
